I purchased two for around the pool, not sure if my husband would like these chairs in place of a chaise lounge. There was no assembly required, just unfolding out of the box. They are VERY comfortable and they are water proof, so sitting on them with a wet bathing suit or being exposed to a thunderstorm is no issue. After the first day of use, my husband suggested we buy more for around the pool! Guess I picked a good chair.

I purchased 2 of these chairs last summer to use on my patio that gets partial sun. While they are very comfortable, after only 2 months of use the nutmeg color faded to an almost whitish-grey color, the metal grommets rusted, and the wooden arms turned black in spots. Given that this is outdoor furniture I would have expected better quality from a store like Brookstone. Very disappointed in this product and absolutely would not recommend.

I use this to sit on the deck and read. It's a great chair, really high quality, and very comfortable. As soon as we got it we wished we had bought another! Which I just might... It unfolds out of the box and is ready to enjoy.

I bought two of these chairs and they arrived the first week of May. After I unboxed them, I read something that was with the chair that stated it was not recommended for bright sunlight or getting wet. This was a surprise, since all the pictures show the chair being used exactly as one would expect out in the sun by the pool. I scotch guarded them after I read that. It is June 9th, one month after putting them outside. The color in no way resembles the color that arrived at my home. They have faded so badly that they look like I've had them for years. I've had several zero gravity chairs over the years. None of them looked like this within a month. They are very comfortable and serve their purpose, but I was VERY disappointed by how badly they faded.

We LOVE these chairs and I don't ever want to be without them. They are comfortable sitting up or reclining, and more comfortable than our chairs in the house. Actually, you should make some of this style that would look good in a living room, maybe with leather seats. Run, don't walk, and buy these now.

Pros: The lounger is very comfortable. The fully reclined position leaves one feeling weightless, as described.
Cons: Based on others' reviews, I expected the lounger to be on the lighter side - it is not. I can move it a few feet, but cannot envision myself carrying it a few block to the beach. Also, the lounger came with a funny tag that says "Do not leave this chair exposed to the sun or water. Store indoors when not in use to prevent premature wear or damage". I expected to store it out on the balcony during the summer...

Having previusly used the product the wood on the arms does not last and wear well outside. There is now a tag warning against sun exposure, which is ridiculous. What are you going to do use this inside or take it in between uses.
The wooden arms are a design flaw that needs to be corrected.
