I think the vest shown is the child size (30-50lbs). I don't think the youth size (50-90lbs) has crotch straps. If this is important to you please confirm before purchasing. The child-sized vest is, in my opinion, the coolest vest in its size category. It is also, I am told, very comfortable. However, due to the aforementioned deficiency, if you require a vest in the youth size, I would consider other offerings.
