I was a little surprised how crisp, clean and clear the writing shows up. I was afraid it would be like those kids toys you write on and lift the sheet to erase. Not at all. It is a great little device. I wish you could save things or where able to have multiple pages. Once you run out of room you just have to stop or erase everything. Also while I hear it only takes power to erase I wish you were able to recharge it or replace the battery. Over all I love it. I like using it for lists. It's a lot of fun my 5 year old wants one. It would make a cool little toy for kids.

I recently purchased this product for a Christmas gift for my husband and I. We use it for a cute little idea of a To do list. I lvoe the concept of this. I am really bummed as I thought this could hang on the wall and does not. Just free standing and same with the writing pen. You would think there would be someplace on this board to clip the pen too. I also feel when you write that the words and not as brightly shown as in the picture or axample in the Brookstone magazine. Very light on mine that is. Not sure worth this price and think they can make some minor changes. I have anough stuff on the counters and now add that to the mix. If you don't mind that then you will lvoe this.

This tablet boasted 50,000 erases. Mine didn't even come close! Closer to 40 erases! I'm very disappointed.

The Boogie Board is a product that I am happy to have. I got help from my brother with math homework and he showed me examples on the Boogie Board -- it was a great tool and he even said how he loved being able to help me out on it. I recommend this product, as it comes in handy and is nice to have around. Worth every penny, it lasts an extremely long amount of time.

This little tablet is great. As an artist, it comes in handy for quick sketches before starting a project. The only thing that really sucks is there is absolutely no way to save what you have created other than some external source (ie. taking a picture of the tablet with your camera). If it had a small sd card slot, or a usb port for a thumb drive so you could save a digital file as you erase, it would be a 5 star device. Lack of saving ability makes me give it a 4.

Great little electronic note pad, but I wish they had included some stickable magnets with which to hang it on your fridge! I hung mine up using "buckyball" magnets temporarily, but for a more permanent solution I used four small patches of adhesive-backed velcro to mount it on my fridge. Unfortunately while I was lining it up to place the velcro strips, the Boogie Board slipped out of my hand and crashed to the floor, cracking one corner :-( It would be nice if they'd include some mounting options and a stylus holder with the product, even if I had to pay $5 more. If not for the mounting woes, I'd give it 5 stars -- it's great for keeping notes, reminders, to-do lists, etc.

So much fun!!! The kids I babysit love when I bring this!!! I even survived being thrown on the carpet by a very vehement 5-year-old... I just wish there was a place to put a stylus. I made a case for it out of duck tape so I could kept the board and the stylus together, but I would prefer it if i didn't have to do that. It's amazing for doodles in the middle of English or Math... It saved my sanity during the blizzard too!

I had seen this before, but never thought twice about it... UNTIL TODAY.
I was taking Eucharist to the Hospital this AM - only one person on the list. That lady was flagged to NOT receive any food or drink. She had cancer, was trached, feeding tube in the side - not good -- could not even talk.
We concluded our prayer service, and as I was leaving, her daughter indicated that she wanted to tell me something. The lady pulled out this device and started to scribble messages to me.
AWESOME! Very touching moment, and very impressive use of the device.

I think this a really useful item. My daughter and I use it both for entertainment (hangman / tic-tac-toe, etc) but it is also very convenient for helping her with her homework assignments. I can do math problems with her and quickly erase and jump to new examples. It would be nice if you could selectively erase sections of the board and could save pages but it is what it is. I am particularly disappointed that the designer of this item chose to not allow battery replacement. This missing feature certainly takes the "green" attribute away from what would be a 5 star rating.
