Ideal for emergency preparedness or camping, the lantern operates on 15,000 MCD super bright white LEDs (low 3 LEDs or high 6 LEDs). The emergency flashing features adds another 6 red LEDs to the lantern, which all blink in unison. The unit also features a high quality AM/FM radio with telescoping antenna, 120-decibel siren, compass, nightlight, and DC car charger for a full charge.
Finally, it may serve as an audio output for an Apple® iPod® or other MP3 player using the included connector cord and it will charge a cell phone for emergency use using the universal Nokia® adapter. 3 minutes of winding provides up to 45 minutes of use; 6 LED lantern operates on high (6 LEDs) or low (3 LEDs); 6 red blinking emergency LEDs; AM/FM radio with telescoping antenna; 120 decibel siren ; Nightlight; Compass; Includes a 12-Volt DC charger which will provide up to 9 hours of use.

Bought this after Hurricane Irene last year. Saved me during Hurricane Sandy in NEW JERSEY this past week. No power for 6 days - my only communication from the outside world. Used the light as a flashlight, nightlight and to light up the room. Only had to replace the 3 AAA batteries once. Convenient to carry - lightweight. Sturdy when sitting on a table. Am buying one for everyone on my Christmas list this year! Great little lantern/radio!!
