I really can't classify these as being light weight. And the Ad and Manual say Waterproof, but, in the manual it says "Store your binoculars in a moisture-free area" Hmmm, time will tell.
I bought these to carry in my Golf Cart. Even though they will be in a protected box, I have to wonder if they will be Ok.
They are well constructed and you can adjust both eye pieces which is nice. The lens covers are rubber, not plastic which is also nice.
I would recommend them except I have no idea how long they will be "waterproof".
