Ken Regan was born and grew up in the Bronx. He studied journalism at Columbia and attended New York University's Film School. During his photography career, he covered the World Series, Super Bowls, the Olympics, heavyweight championship fights, hockey, basketball, tennis, auto racing and other professional sports for Time, Sports Illustrated, Life and Newsweek. By the late eighties, Ken had over 200 magazine covers to his credit, as well as numerous awards, from the Missouri School of Journalism and World Press Photo to the New York Newspaper Guild. Walt Frazier was one of the most famous Knicks of all time. He won NBA championships in 1970 and 1973. He averaged 35 points and 19 assists in the 1970 championship game vs. the hated Lakers. He averaged 18.9 PPG and 6.1 APG over his career and was a 4-time all-NBA player. Walt Frazier has hand signed this 16" x 20" photograph of him walking down the streets of New York City. This photograph has also been hand signed by the photographer, Ken Regan. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. Framed in cherry wood.
