I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my husband giving him the opportunity to return if it did not meet all specifications worthy of spending this amount of money. He found that it is perfect item for long trips - especially international. Can enjoy favorite movies from iphone or ipod while not disturbing other passengers. Screen size is great while also having the ability to see what is going on around without needing to remove glasses.

A little bulkier than what appears in the picture. I believe the photo used is with the model having removed the nose piece, but even still I would recommend this item.

The big pitfall in the design of these video glasses is the lack of interpupillary adjustment (distance between eyes) and they do not have a high tolerance for misalignment of the angle of view.

As a result, if your eyes are wider spaced or narrower spaced than average, you will not get an optimal sight picture. For me, my eyes are too widely spaced for this product, so the end result is the color becomes very posterized (on the outer edge of the screen) in one eye or the other...depending on which way I push the glasses. My wife has narrow spaced eyes and she gets the same effect, only on the inside edge of the screen.

These NEED interpupillary adjustment, just the same as binoculars and stereo microscopes need interpupillary adjustment. Without it, the resulting screen view will be acceptable ONLY if you happen to have "average" spaced eyes.

Also, the screen positioning is way too low and there is nowhere near enough adjustment to raise it acceptably, therefore, you end up raising the earpieces about 1-2 inches above your ears to angle the screens upward enough to view.

Finally, they do NOT look like the picture (above) when wearing them. Because of the screens behind the glasses, they sit WAY forward...much more than the photo implies.

Sorry...this is great concept, but the engineering and execution leaves a LOT be to be desired.

I'm giving the product 2 stars after all of that simply because if they happen to fit the user, they'd probably be great!

I'm in the military and I travel a lot. Carrying a pocket sized 55" tv is amazing so this is perfect for travellers, computer users, and space savers.I had an easy time setting up the device following the booklet. Tried it out with my playstation 2, and the video looks amazing. Sound quality is good as well. Having the capability to individually fix the focus for those of us who wear glasses is easy and precise.Only reason this didn't get a 5 is because I had to return it due to my eyes being wider apart then I guess the normal viewer. I couldn't maneuver it into position to see one image, so always had 2 images that weren't right. Called the company that designed the glasses and they said there wasn't anything I could do since this wasn't a focus problem but a eye distance problem.Don't let this deter you, great product. It didn't work for me, but it seems to work for many others. [...]

This product is great and easy to use with good video image.. the ear bud kinda hurt your ears after a while so i recommend using other head phones.

As a frequent flyer, the Vuzix Wrap Video Glasses are perfect for me. I can easily and comfortably watch movies even when I'm squished in the back row of the plane, the sun is streaming through the windows and the person in front of me has reclined their seat all the way back. Plus, the Vuzix Wrap Video Glasses look just like normal sunglasses, so I don't get any questioning stares from other passengers.
