Vintage Bowling Pin
Dutch colonists brought bowling to America in 1935.
Dutch colonists brought bowling to America in the 17th century. Since then, its rich history made it one of the most popular sports in the world!
The game consisted of nine pins set in a triangle. It was regularly played in an area of New York City still known as “Bowling Green.” There are many variations of “pin” games from ninepins in Western Europe, to bocce in Italy, and pétanque in France. Our three pins are finished in distressed honey with accents in red, blue, and yellow. These pins make for charming, fun décor.
