I bought this based on other customer reviews and internet research. I've used it several times for diamond earrings, and I'm amazed at how they sparkle after each cleaning. I used purified drinking water to ensure water deposits aren't left behind on the jewelry. I'm planning to purchase these as future Christmas gifts for family members.

This product does not clean. It does get dirt 'particles' out of your jewelry, but it does not 'clean' because there is no cleaning agent to dissolve dirt and grime, like fingerprints...Read complete review
This product does not clean. It does get dirt 'particles' out of your jewelry, but it does not 'clean' because there is no cleaning agent to dissolve dirt and grime, like fingerprints, smudges, etc. Rings, earrings and other fine jewelry only get as clean as they would if you held them under a faucet.
The watch cleaner is ridiculous, as the water only reaches about 2/3 of the band. Great, if you only need half of your watch cleaned. Not great otherwise.
A gentle tootbrush with a little soap will do a 100% better job.
I did not test the CD cleaning aspect. Based on the above results, I imagine that's not great either.

I received this as a gift and I use it ALL the time! My diamond earrings and rings get junky within a week, so I just pull this cleaner out and just fill it up with water, and after 2 minutes, I'm done! So super easy and extremely effective. Sometimes if my earrings are really dirty I'll run it a few more times until they look brand new. I love the compact size and the easy operation. Highly recommended.

I found mine at Brookstone today. I happened to be at the mall burning time with my grandson while the ladies were doing some clothes shopping. I have wanting something to clean my glasses well without causing them damage and I have been told that the best thing is a sonic cleaner. I also spent a little extra and got the extended warranty.
I have a pair of expensive, fragile, frame less glasses with wood in them from Wood and Gold of Paris. The build up of dirt and sweat in some of the fine areas has been impossible to clean out by hand. In the past for other glasses I have used a hand shaken cleaner with a chemical solution, but I was told by my optometrist I should not use it for these glasses because of the wood.
I am extremely pleased with the sonic cleaner. It worked perfectly on my glasses and my Citizen Eco watch!
The funny part is that my wife was skeptical at first, but after seeing how it worked she now has started a list of items to be cleaned. lol.
It is great because you just use tap water. After cleaning one of my wife's watches the water was so dirty I had to replace the water. The sonic cleaner was able to clean out areas of the watch band we were never able to clean before!
Yes, we are very pleased with our investment in the sonic cleaner!

Bought this specifically for cleaning my dive watch. The photo actually shows a dive watch in the cleaner, along with the basket and watch holder. It must be a very small women's watch! The container is nowhere near deep enough to submerse my dive watch, even without the basket and holder! From overall size it appears it should be plenty big, but the actual useful volume of water is so small it can only be used for cleaning very small items- bracelets, rings, etc. Even then it is not very effective at cleaning into crevices. The case, bracelet and case back of my watch came out looking great, but for some reason it seems never able to clean into the crevices on the crown. Sending it back and looking for something better.

This was a Christmas present for my wife. Using plain water, as recommeded, did not clean. Other cleaners are only available on line, so I chose this model as it was available locally. Returning it.

I didnt think a product could clean this good without chemacals, But the first two bracelets I put in I was amazed of all the dirt I could SEE falling off. I love this product! I'll NEVER have to spend hours scrubbing with a toothbrush again!!
