I LOVE this dryer. I discovered it in 2003 or 2004 and I am responsible for at least 8 other sales of this dryer because I have been a walking commercial for it for years. I have bought a couple of them as gifts and have talked friends into buying one for themselves and everyone loves it once they try it! It dries my hair SO quickly and I find that it makes it softer, smoother and shinier than when I use a different dryer.
This is my only dryer and I use it every other day when I wash my hair. I also use it now and then to dry my Golden-Lab after his shower! I took this dryer to Scotland and forgot to flip the voltage to the appropriate setting for Europe and fried it immediately. I had to RENT a crummy travel dryer from the hotel for 2 weeks! When I returned home, I went to Brookstone and explained what happened and they GRACIOUSLY replaced it for me!
It's been over 2.5 years since I've had my replacement dryer and this past week I've had my first problem. It won't run on the high setting (my favorite), so my husband dissected the dryer and saw that the wires at the pivot part of the dryer are broken. I'm going to take this back to Brookstone to ask if there is a warranty that will cover replacing it. I definitely have to have this dryer again but I think I should probably stop using it as my only dryer since opening and closing it wears out the wires.
All in all, I LOVE this dryer and still HIGHLY recommend it! It’s so affordable for what you get, too! Salon quality for a drugstore price! :)

I've owned this dryer for years and just replaced one that my teenage girls broke. We all use it, a couple of us have thin hair and one has thick. It is used at home and I always travel with it. I find hotel dryers to be unreliable.

I've owned many travel hairdryers over the years and this one is by far the best one. It's extremely portable and lightweight. The design is also very sleek. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because it doesn't quite feel like 1,875 watts of power. However, it dries my hair faster than all others I've previously owned. Definitely a great buy for travelers like me who dislike using the standard hotel hairdryers.

I bought my first Brookstone dryer around 1997, it worked perfectly until it died years later. My second one continues to work perfectly , but I have had it for years so I bought a 3rd one for when I need it. I bought this in 2005 while deployed to Iraq because it was small and dual voltage. I had already destroyed 3 other dryers even using an adapter. It has been a champ, doing the job of a full size dryer while weighing less than half. It has traveled with me all over the world, and when I got home after using a full sized dryer once, I pulled it back out and am still using it. I have a small bathroom and use an over the door pocket shoe organizer for our toiletries. This folds up and fits inside one of the pockets perfectly. The handle is starting to peel a little from normal wear and it has a few dings from dropping it, but still operates fine.

I replaced my regular sized blow drier with this one. It actually works better than the big one. I love that it removes negative ions and leaves my hair feeling softer.so far, I have nothing to complain about it.
