This is a great travel alarm clock. As a road warrior, if you could dial up Pacific Standard Time, or any other time zone, instead of having to manually change the time it would be THE perfect travel alarm clock. The LED flashlight is very handy when you are in a hotel room and wake up in the middle of the night needing to find something like the bathroom in the dark.

The worst feature is not being able to see what the alarm is set for without taking the back off. However, the other features outweigh this for me. I love the flashlight and being able to press the top in the middle of the night to see the time. I prefer that to one that is backlit all the time.

Setting the alarm is very awkward. Removing back cover, especially for one with arthritic hands, is difficult. Cannot check time alarm is set, even at a glance, without removing back cover, sliding latch to alarm set and then turning clock over and looking at front. Needs view on front of actual time for which alarm has been set.

I keep the clock next to my chair where we sit a night. We have frequent power outage and it is nice to have my clock nearby. I have given two of the clocks as gifts because I like mine so muck. Great for travel and I have recommended them for this when I have given them as gifts.

At 74 my hearing is now what it once was so the volumn may be fine for younger ears. My wife can't hear it at all. We both like the always available flashlight and a simple click activates the backlite display
