Growing up I always learned how to be a man from my dad. He is as classic of a man as they come whether we are wealthy or not. My dad kept the basics simple and was a gentleman's gentleman. I called my dad before buying this electric shaver for myself since I never learned to use one but had always seen my dad using them growing up. I described how it looked, how much it was, and asked if it was a good item. He told me that typically the simple looking ones are the best and the funny looking futuristic ones would make me want to throw them out the window. Dad was right. This shaver is great to keep myself clean. It doesn't allow as close of a shave as a classic blade, but then again what is? It does a great job with the short trimmer to get mustaches as close to the skin as possible. The regular shaver works real well to shave sideburns, beards, and neck hairs. I don't think there are necessarily any negatives about it. Are there better devices? Yes, but for the price this is as good as it gets and from a company I trust. And that, in this day and age, is hard to come by with consumer products.

This was a wonder gift that I used frequently until after about 8-9 months when the battery wouldn't hold a charge. It's a shame you can't replace the battery or I would gladly refer this to anyone.

I have sideburns and a small gotee. This used to work fine as a touch-up trimmer but stopped working altogether after about half a year of continuos use. Such a disappointment.
