Your wine is protected by our patent-pending design that encloses your wine in a wine shipper box inside the secure padded Wine Check case. I have had the Wine Check since 2010 and it's still going strong. I have used mine for multiple trips to Napa, Sonoma, Finger Lakes Wine Country and other wine destinations. It's intentionally lightweight so that when you check wine, the weight comes from the wine and won't exceed 50 pounds at check-in. It's less expensive than shipping wine and can be used over and over. When I need to travel with wine, I always bring the Wine Check.

I've had this (the original version and this newer one) since it was released. I've traveled many many times overseas and domestically with it and love it. Easily holds 12 bottles without exceeding the airline's weight limits. So far I've never had to replace the inside box/stryofoam and the padded sides/top/bottom help protect and add a little more insulation to the box.

Great idea, great bottle protection, but needs 4 wheels, not just 2, if you are trying to handle other luggage at the same time.

Will be using the product for a trip to Napa, but was disappointed at the overall quality of the product. I'm used to top notch quality from Brookstone, but got, essentially, a duffel bag with cardboard in it!
