This is the best curling rod I've ever used. It's also better than any traditional curling iron. Not only does it curl my hair, which is nearly impossibel with a traditional iron, it leaves NO CLAMP MARKS. It's super easy to use once you get the technique down. You must use the glove that comes with it or you will burn yourself. Curls last overnight and can be brushed next day, though as ezpected, loose some body and more like a wave. Very quick to set your hair. You only need about 8 seconds and time to let the curl cool. I've been using this rod for about 3 months now and it still works good as new, no need to worry about it loosing heat.

I have naturally dry/wavy/frizzy hair, I do not like to blow dry. I wash at night and then sleep on it, I section into 8 large sections and wrap the hair around the tool, wait until I just feel heat coming through the glove and then release. Leave the curls alone until your done all over. Then do something else, I ususally brush my teeth and then finger comb your hair. GREAT RESULTS! I have gotten compliments on my hair for the first time in 40 years.
