This mattress protector stays put at the corners which is my main concern for my calif. king size mattress, and you dont even feel that it is there under the sheet cause its very soft and comfortable.

I like that it protects my mattress however, because of it's smooth texture the sheet slides off the corners even if I have it tucked under the mattress snuggly.

I bought a cheap cover first and it broke on day 1. This one is easy to put on and take off. We have a dog and a 7 month old so this was a must for us.

I bought this as a last resort, after trying another store's version and traditional pads, which were way too hot and/or didn't protect from liquids. This one actually sleeps cool and feels comfortable. It makes a little noise, sort like silk on silk, when you slide on it, but it's not plastic-y or like a trash bag. For time ever, I'm not waking up with sweaty sheets.

Someone mentioned that it did not protect against dog urine. I don't know why it wouldn't. I poured about 6 oz of water on the corner of the bed to test it, and not a drop went through. This is better quality than anything you will find in department stores.

This protector does not feel AT ALL like sleeping on a plastic bag. Anyone who says it does must have bought a knock-off. It is soft, quiet, and stops the sheet slipping that many people complain about with the Tempurpedic mattresses, which is caused by the grain of the fibers on the mattress cover that comes with the mattress. It stretches, so it doesn't interfere with the function of the mattress like a regular protector would. It's pricey, but how will you feel when your kid spills a glass of juice on you $2000 mattress, and knowing that there's no way you'll ever be able to clean it out? I've never spent this much on anything but my car, but I love the bed, and I love the mattress protector. It actually would have made my old inner-spring mattress much more comfortable, without all the crinkling and bunching of an AllerEase mattress protector.

I purchased this mattress protector with our bed from our chiropractor. I didn't use it until my grandson came for a stay. Needing to protect our new mattress from stains, I gave it a try. I didn't have ANY problems sleeping on it even though I have hot flashes at the slightest provocation! The sippy cup did leak a big puddle and the mattress was totally dry underneath. I don't know what that fabric is, but it is amazing. I have left it on because we don't notice it and it stretches as the bed forms to you. You can't use other pads because it interferes with the temperature sensitivity of the mattress. Only complaint: It does swish just a little, but not like a plastic one would. Protection helps us relax in our bed and not worry so much when I drink coffee in bed! :)

Very Hot to sleep on all night long. Felt like having a hot heating pad under you. Very uncomfortable to sleep on and would not recommend them.
