We're not expert kayakers, but after seeing other people do it we decided to get a kayak ourselves. This was an easy choice—no car racks or big storage area needed. On the water it was quite easy to use, with enough rigidity so that getting on or off wasn't an adventure. Handles well, and the inflatable cockpit is a lot more forgiving if you're generously sized.
