I was using the umbrella to keep dry while removing snow from my car during a northeaster when a tree branch broke and came down upon me. The umbrella, though destroyed, deflected the branch enough that I received a glancing blow on my forehead rather than it hitting me directly. Though somewhat bloodied, I thank the strength of the umbrella for preventing a more serious hit

This is by far the best umbrella I have ever owned. A little pricey, but well worth it knowing you will never have to deal with 'problem' umbrellas ever again! My husband and I have owned ours for over 2 years and love them - they never fail to open, are easy to use when getting in/out of the car, and provide great coverage. They are a little bigger, but what good does a compact umbrella do anyways?

Bought this umbrella on recommendation of friend. First day using it in a rainstorm and it broke. The wind vents didn't protect the umbrella ribs from destruction. The lightweight structure didn't hold up to wind gusts.

I have owned one of these for several years and am about to purchase a new one because I misplaced it during a move. Lightweight and small enough to put in a chauffeur bag I have found it easy to open and close and the large canopy is adequate to protect two people. It would be nice to have a different color available so it would be easier to see in a dark environment. I am a professional executive chauffeur and I use this umbrella during the course of my duties during inclement weather.

I very much regret that I bought this umbrella. It was supposed to be wind resistant, but it is not. When wind blows, you feel like you are holding a parachute. You feel every weak wind blow and your hand gets very tired of holding an umbrella. This umbrella is the first one to flip over when the wind blows. I have no idea why in the description, it is said that it is wind-resistant. Pls don't believe it!
