This blowdryer while it doesn't blow a ton of air, really dried my hair quickly. I was concerned when I first used it, because there wasn't lots of air - but it reduced my blowdrying time from 30+ minutes to about 12 minutes. My hair is super shiney and much easier to manage because it isn't "blown to bits". Even the hair in the back underneath was dry - I love this dryer.
