Just assembled the product today, so my impressions are fresh. Overall, I think I'll like the unit--I need something to organize shoes in my entryway & this'll fit the bill. As others have noted, the unit is smaller than it looks in the catalog. For the price, I expected a MUCH easier assembly. And when assembling, I'd keep it on its side til it's time to attach the front lip pieces; otherwise, when you go to lay it on its back so you can tighten one of the cam locks underneath the bottom shelf, most of the 20+ dowels you've just spent so much time inserting will all fall out. Also, the dowels' circumference is significantly less than that of the holes into which they go, which means they fall out easily -- maddening, because there are a total of 44 of them. I'd recommend, as the instructions do, having someone (calm and patient) around to help you.

I really liked the idea and having the openness to see the items in the bins. So much smaller than expected. I know these bins are sold at unfinished wood stores and I liked the looks of this one. Honestly I thought about buying 2 - glad I didn't. Over priced for the cheapness and small size of the bin.

I think this is a great product overall. Make sure to note dimensions-as with most catalog pictures, it is smaller than it looks. It is decent quality but takes some time to assemble/comes with tons of screws, etc. Be prepared to devote an hour, especially if you're not mechanically inclined like myself :-)I was slightly disappointed that it doesn't appear to be real wood....kinda seems like something I could get at [...] for cheaper. Overall though I'm pleased with the amount of storage and I'm glad to finally have a place for all those shoes that end up at the front door!

I use this multi-bin organizer for my husband's shoes. He wears a 10 1/2 W
shoe and they don't fit in most shoe organizing systems. They DO fit in the
compartments of this system.
They are very sturdy, strong, and good looking. We purchased the white as that is the best look in our closet.
