Frank Robinson is the only player to win MVP in both leagues.
This HOF outfielder was a star from the moment he joined the Cincinnati Reds in 1956, tying the rookie record with 38 homers enroute to ROY honors. In 1961 he was the National League MVP, leading the Reds to the World Series. In 1966 he joined the Baltimore Orioles and won both the Triple Crown and the American League MVP award, following up with the World Series MVP award as the Orioles swept the L.A. Dodgers. After finishing his playing career with 586 home runs and 14 All-Star appearances, he went on to become the first African-American manager in Major League history. Robinson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1982. Robinson has hand signed this MLB Baseball, and added the special inscription "TC 66."
