I traveled out of town for my wedding so my wedding dress was folded into a carry-on suitcase, not a pretty sight! My bridesmaid bought this iron for a friend and then bought another to use on my dress and her dress. The seamstress who altered my dress pressed it for me and this little iron did a better job! I wore my dress for 12 hours and there was barely a crease. I'm viewing it now to make my own purchase!

This is a great travel iron. It's small but it works well. Note it does take a few minutes to warm up. But once it's working it gets the job done. The water well is small, only holds about 2-3 ounces, so you will have to refill several times while steaming. Comes with a small cup with a spout which makes it easy to fill the water well. You can steam in the vertical position you just need to wait for it to warm up, when it's hot you'll see the steam coming out of the vents. I have steamed silk, again it has to be warmed up. The iron is small so you have to go much slower as you steam but it will get the wrinkles out. I love it for traveling.

This steamer is not good at all!! I wanted a small, handheld steamer to steam my silk tops and it dosent have a strong enough steam to even get the creases out! Another thing is it dosent steam when held in a vertical position... why would you steam a fabric in a horizontal position if it is a delicate??? Dosent make sense!!!
anyways I would NOT recommend this to anyone who needs a steamer.
