Job: SEO Marketing Senior Specialist

Job: Assistant Controller

  • Strong computer and accounting software expertise a must.
  • Strong knowledge of all facets of operational accounting including: Heavy reconciliations, Inventory control, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Ledger.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting and Payroll (GAAP) principles, accepted retail/cost accounting practices and policies.
  • Hands-on manager who is results-oriented. Through active, dynamic leadership, defines responsibilities and sets goals for accounting team, and empowers team members to meet those goals.

Job: Marketing Specialist

A significant amount of work will be done within our email provider’s UI to be able to set up these campaigns and report on them.
  • Catalog support: Work with the Brookstone Assistant Marketing Manager as a backup for the catalog drivers’ circulation preparation. Will perform merge/purge QC, list pulls, and promotion management. Pull ad-hoc reports and perform analyses in support of the Assistant Marketing Manager.
  • Email File Health: Perform analysis of the email customer list to determine growth, attrition, response, and valuable segments of our house list. Analyze opt-out survey for trends. Support efforts to grow the list and onboard new members.

  • Assist in developing the specific project criteria and product design goals.
  • Set and maintain project schedules, enforce project-to-project priorities set by management.
  • Develop solutions that fit both cost goals for the product as well as fit within the selected manufacturer’s core competencies.
  • Proactively partner with Industrial Design, internal and vendor Mechanical Engineering teams to assure that design intent and product performance goals are delivered through to production.

  • Actively champion the failure analysis of all level – 3 & 4 BLab projects with both internal and external QA teams.
  • Maintain a proactive and engaged presence throughout the duration of the design and post-design release phases of a project.
  • Develop and maintain a professional rapport and time-sensitive dialog with internal/external project managers and manufacturing partners.
REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • A 0 – 4 years of work experience in a consumer product development environment (preferably internships or working experience in consumer electronics).
  • A Strong analytical/problem solving skills and general mechanical engineering analysis.
  • A Strong materials knowledge and working knowledge different materials and grades.
  • A Good hands-on model-shop experience (e.g. mill, lathe)
  • A Solidworks 3-D CAD skills (Part, Assembly, and Surface Modeling)
  • A Requires demonstrated ability in plastic and metal part design.
  • A Working knowledge of finite element analysis theory and ability to use statistical tools and techniques.
  • A Flexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment.

SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the success of our email marketing program as well as the implementation of our B-to-C catalog mailings. They will plan, launch, and report on all email marketing campaigns. They will also manage the catalog mailing preparation process from start to finish. This position requires a high level of passion for direct marketing and a high level of curiosity to troubleshoot problems and test new methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Email Sales: Drive sales through email marketing. Manage segmentation, merchandising, cadence, themes, frequency, delivery rates, and other aspects of email marketing to maximize our profit in this channel. A/B test new features and backtest current methods. Optimize our automated trigger email program. Manage the relationship between Brookstone and our Email Service Provider and manage initial contract negotiation as needed. Manage the email expense budget. Run constant competitive analysis.

Catalog Mailing Preparation: Manage merge/purge process for catalog mailings to ensure timely in-home delivery. Work with outside list and mail processing vendors and analytics team to meet deadlines and troubleshoot and report variances. Make final selects out of merge and communicate printing instructions to the printer.

Email Address Acquisition and Retention: Grow the email file with responsive, profitable new email signups. Work with the store operations team to capture emails in stores, and work with website team to capture emails in various areas on the site. Monitor and report on file size and opt out survey. Find new ways to add value to the email subscriber to keep our customers from opting out.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in email marketing.
  • Catalog mail preparation experience.
  • Strong computer skills are required; proficiency with MS Word and Excel is a must.
  • Candidates will have solid analytical and communication skills.

Store Sales Manager
  • Responsible for managing one store.
  • Innovatively manages the Store by driving sales performance and controlling expenses.
  • Attracts and develops Store Management and Sales Associates who can successfully close sales with our Customers.

Assistant Store Sales Manager
