So I bought this with searching all over internet and compared it to every tablet out there, personally I have been happy with Android OS for a while, and I like how it does everything I need it to, but that is just the OS part. The screen resolution is not the best out there, but the NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quadcore processor just kills any tablet out there and adds to the graphics quality, it is super fast and smooth to use. the tablet design really neat and the black textured panel on the back is really a nice grip to hold on to. The cameras are pretty nice too although this is not my primary source for taking pictures, but the front cam brings a really nice quality picture for video conferencing. The IR remote control and the WatchNow app are really awesome, the bad part is I just never want to use my regular remote anymore. The WiFi used to have problems in the beginning which got solved with a new system update. I bought the 16GB model but I added a 64 GB Flash memory card which is a lot more space that I need while I haven't even reached my 16 GB limit so far by having all my music stored on Google Play. So far I am really happy with my choice and cannot wait for Jelly Bean to be released for this tablet. This tablet is definitely worth the price.

I like the tablet overall. The screen looks great, it's speedy, and the design is elegant. My only gripe is that the WiFi turns off when the tablet goes to sleep, and sometimes won't turn back on unless I reboot the tablet. I want to be able to use the device for communication, and it's important that I get notifications when emails come in, even if the screen is off (or it's in sleep mode or whatever). It remains to be seen if the wifi-not-turning-back-on problem is unique to my tablet, in which case I need to return it, or if all tablets have this issue and it will be addressed in a future update. I would also prefer if there were real HDMI and USB ports instead of everything requiring a special adapter on the single multiport.

I've had the tablet for a few days now and I am very pleased with it. The build is very solid and light and is aesthetically pleasing. I'm not a big fan of Android but Sony did a fine job of tweaking it and making it more intuitive (i.e., small apps, remote control, watch now--all work fine). I've had no problems with it thus far. Battery life seems on par with the iPad and connecting to WiFi was simple. The screen isn't as sharp as the iPad (noticeable with letters), but it has more richness to it, if that makes sense. I purchased the cover also and it allows for different viewing angles and works great! I've owned the iPad 3 and now the Xperia and I have to say I prefer the Xperia. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but it seems like there's more functional diversity to it without having to load a lot of apps and the look and feel of the device is a plus. A sharper screen would have been nice but I don't find it a deal breaker as I mentioned earlier. And thanks for including the OfficeSuite App--very big plus!

This is a fantastic tablet, the best on the face of the earth in my opinion. I played Call of duty black ops with it on full HD was amazing! Needs a bit more ram for that extra edge! runs all Microsoft office apps brilliant, the wifi connection is 100 meter, which is excellent! Can play videos up to 4k resolution full ultra HD no lag! 7.1 channel sound. 4K tv output.
