I use this umbrella to charge my new iPhone 5 and my new IPad and do not have to worry anymore about my battery getting low. The two USB ports allow me to charge all my things outside. No more extension cords near the pool or having to find an outlet. It's like having an office now outside and I am in my own space. I bring it with me when I travel to see friends and set it up on the dock right next to the water and am in touch with everyone wherever I go and can still do my work but feel like I am on vacation being able to set up anywhere. I am a photographer and am able to charge my cameras , shoot video then edit everything on my ipad and create short films etc.. I could never do that before because the batteries would get low. It even works in overcast and during the blizzard Nemo that left 4 feet of snow it worked by just leaning it against a window while the umbrella was closed inside. No more worrying about being cut off during power outages. It is the best thing I own!!

This Umbrella has changed the way my family uses the Patio and the Beach. Entertaining was very fun until the Mp3 players and Cellphones started to lose power and then the party was over. Adults and children alike would start leaving to charge their devices. Not anymore. This umbrella is not only the most beautiful Patio Umbrella I have bought, but the solar powered charging feature is a game changer.
