New features include the ability to flag items you have coupons for, and designate item quantities. Category management lets you create lists to match your store layout as well as change and add categories. The updated SmartShopper™ 301 even has a built-in kitchen timer!
Errands to do? SmartShopper™ 301 remembers those, too!
The errand-tracker feature records and organizes all your chores and to-do's, like going to the bank, dry cleaners, car wash, pharmacy and more. Just dictate your list, print it out and go! Built-in printer requires no ink cartridges. SmartShopper™ 301 includes built-in magnets, wall-mounting kit and one roll of paper (additional rolls sold separately). Every time I think of something I need, I simply say it and do not have to find my shopping list (wherever I was keeping it at the time). It is better than a write-on board, because you do not have to copy that list down. If the screen and the print were a little bigger, it would be great for the visually impaired. I know because my husband is visually impaired and has trouble reading it.

My wife is handicapped in such a way that makes handwriting difficult for her. The handicap is no longer an issue. We use this machine on a daily basis. Got something you need to remember to get? Hit "Record" and say it.
At times it can be too generic with the products it has in memory, this is easily remedied by adding your own.
