I spent an hour trying to adjust the sensitivity as instructed in the manual. There is simply no "sweet spot" between always on and always off for the switched devices. I am not using any unusal equipment (standard stereo). Since for me installing and uninstalling involved crawling around behind furniture that was difficult to move, the adjustment process was a nightmare, especially because ultimatley unsuccessful.

I installed this smart strip on my entertainment system. All I have to do is turn on my TV with my remote and everything comes on for me ready to use. And I get to save energy also by using my remote to turn off my TV and the smart strip turns everything else off without my having to bend down and switch off the power strip.

I was surprised to learn that when you turn your devices off, they don't go off completely—many of them continue to drain power.
