I use this on my 60 inch television in my living room for parties or just cleaning around the house. This was an easy setup to my television just a few wires and I was hearing and watching everything from my IPOD. The small indicator light is barely visible on the dock but everything else you see on the screen. I only wish that it came with longer cables that reach from the back of the television to the front and onto a side table.

I was excited about this because it says "video capable" and it is but you cant scroll thru the videos on the screen... so sitting on a couch u have to look at the small ipod screen... and if you dont have a form fitting case on the ipod it will not fit and connect to dock so only difference in this to the 20$ apple AV cable is a remote and on TV screen music scrolling....
