I do alot of writing in a noisy environment - these headphones allow for creative and analytical thought in a choatic work place. I surround myself with good music and tune out the world - and when I am at fault for generating noise at home (college basketball with surround sound)- my girlfriend "borrows" them and tunes me out with a smirk.

I've never been able to sleep on a plane. With these Bose Noice Cancelling Headphones, I'm finally able to travel and rest during the flight. Watching a movie in flight or simply listening to music is much more enjoyable with these headphones.
