I absolutely LOVE this turntable! It was extremely easy to set up, and the directions were very easy to follow. This is my first turntable and I would recommend it to anyone that just enjoys the classic sounds of LPs. Best for smaller rooms, great conversation starter, works like a dream. Best feature - it is exactly what I expected to get when I ordered it.

This given as gift to hard to please mother-in-law to play her records on. She DOES like the old-fashioned look of it, AND the sound(big plus), but was not using until I DREW her a DIAGRAM of the dials, enlarging the words because they are SMALL and DARK and hard to see (even for me)on the player. I would advise manufacturer to make these more visible, or for them to light up when player on.

I like the general look of the unit however when you look closely it looks cheep. The tone sinks too. The sound could be greatly improved with the simple addition of a tone control or a 3 to 7 band EQ. I have added a small EQ and it solved the problem.
