The slim CD system is the perfect addiition to a home library. The design of the system gives our book case a very neat look and adds to the decor of the room and it has a great sound.

I purchased as a gift for my parent; a senior citizen. He is somewhat tech challenged and this little gadget is easy for him to opreate and the sound is very adequate for his space. I intend to purchase one myself, a step up with the sub woofer for my home. Thank you.

Good everyday radio/cd player. Timer makes it good for relaxing music at bed time.

The unit is worth what I paid for it with one exception. I did expect more base sound since this is such a common feature. Due to the lack of this feature I would describe this unit as a medium priced table radio.

I bought this CD System for my husband to use at work. His work space/cubicle is small with limited counter/desk space so he needed something compact. This system works perfectly. He's received a lot of compliments on it's sleek appearance and he said the sound is comparable to more expensive systems. He loves it and highly recommends it. He's raved about it so much that he's convinced me to order one for my office.

Worth the price, this is the thrid one I have bought, it playes CD and radio...not everyone needs or has an MP3 or Ipod...we just use CDs and the radio..

i am very satisfied. ihave a small home and the sound projects nicely and can be heard from room to room. quality is really good for its pricepoint

This product is used on a regular basis every day. We utilize the repeat feature for CD's. AFter a little over one year of regular use the feature does not work anymore and the CD stops repeating and unit goes off. WE tried the radio function and same thing the unit turns off and does not stay on. [...] only has a 1 year Limted Warranty and I am stuck with a radio that no longer works as we need it. No good.

We live in a very small condominium and did not have the space for a home stereo system. We installed this unit on our living room wall. It sounds great, gets many radio stations and the CD player is wonderful. The remote is great and easy to use, too! We love it so much we are purchasing another one for the nursary!

I have owned this product for several years and it has been my music souce in hotels all over the world, I put it inside my carry on luggage and off i go. So it is durable and the music clarity is excellent also everyone asks where you bought this unique stereo...

Received this as a gift for my office. Although I am technically challenged, even I have long since converted my cd's into mp3's. When I explained to my 60-year-old parents why I needed the receipt so I could return this, even they said they assumed all cd players nowadays played mp3's. And they're 60! Brookstone, get with the late 90's (let alone 2000's)! Other cons - "shelf" system only fits on really tall shelfs due to door mechanism going up. Said door feels flimsy and cheap overall.
