Bottom line: I don't regret buying these, but would think twice before doing it again.
I bought two strings because I am tired of cheap strings that only last a few weeks ("buy quality, pay only once"). I used them to decorate the top of my front porch.
"Bulbs" good: I like the warm-white color. The cut-glass effect magnifies the appearance of each light, but it doesn't (of course) magnify the amount of light ... so these contribute much less to light pollution than last year's incandescent lights.
"Bulbs" bad: The lights at the ends of the strings are dimmer than the lights at the beginning of each string, which bothers me. The LED-flicker causes a multiple-image effect if the lights swing in the wind.
Wires: my porch is dark green--with any other paint job the wires would be very obvious, and these would be good only for greenery.

These lights are OK but the wiring loosens and becomes unmanagable. Also, not bright enough
