I used the rocks to cover our sprinkler piping and our sump pump outlet. It worked perfectly and was very reasonable cost-wise compared to other websites selling similar products. We haven't noticed any fading, but we've only had them a couple of months.

We used the faux rock in the back yard to cover up a cable box. It's a little taller than it needs to be, but it looks pretty natural. We haven't staked it down yet, but it's stayed in place, hasn't blown away. It's a little pricey for what it is, but much more attractive than the green utility box that was out there before.

I really like these faux rocks. In fact, after the first purchase, we purchased a second one for another area of our yard. They are great for hiding unwanted cable and utility boxes! I wish they had different shapes with the same height.
