My husband and I went to England for our second honeymoon and we brought our laptop and various other things that needed to be plugged in. The first place I thought of was Brookstone! I looked a several the offered here and found this one to be the best value for the money. It worked great AND it works for different countries BESIDES the UK! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great buy.

This adapter is very easy to use, and is better than having to keep 5 different adapters in one place. Having all in one unit saves space and time. It is very lightweight and easy to pack in a suitcase. The instructions are clear and are easy to figure out. Great product!

I was thinking this was not just an adapter, but also a converter. I wanted to use it when I traveled to Ireland and needed something that not only adapted, but brought the 220v down to 110v.

I used the universal adapter in Asia (India, China and The Philippines) and it was easy to set up and use. One issue, however, was that frequently, Asian wall outlets are recessed, and the construction of the adapter made it impossible to plug into the wall unit because the size of the plug would not allow it to enter the recess.
