I use this as a radio/Ipod in the bathroom.
The waterproof protection is a plus for the iPod dock. The only con I have found is that the battery life is shorter than expected. I play the radio for 1 hour each morning and the batteries only lasted 2 weeks. I have since switched to using the cord & it works fine. I hope to use it outdoors this summer.

The clear cover is rigid. I thought from the picture it would be soft so you could control the ipod through it. Instead, you have to slide the clear cover up to do controls, so it defeats the water-resistant idea. Overall, great as my daughter loves it!

Sound is good for a boom box, but the remote control only has basic functions for your Ipod. I end up just using the controls on the Ipod itself instead of the remote.
