I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my husband. We both had standard model LG phones, however none of the LG chargers fit the input.
Still, I kept the chargers hoping they would work with our next set of phones. I now have an LG chocolate that has an input that fits it and my husband has the LG 7000, also compatible. The chargers still dont work with our phones! I tried new batteries, I inspected everything to make sure there werent any stickers blocking the power... no luck. Still no charge. Really annoying because I actually was in an emergency and I am kicking myself for relying on this product.

Although it did some time for this product to charge my phone in the end it did the job. I wasn't expecting a miracle for it to let me gab for hours, it held the charge and let me have it for emergencies when I didn't my charger with me. The product did get hot, but not enough to burn me,as the power source is battery I also expected that. Keep this handy for emergencies, thats what its intended purpose is.

I like the concept. I received as a gift and thought that it was a great idea. The problem is that the tips available in the kit are limited to a few phones and there does not seem to be a way to order other options.
I have a Motorola and a Samsung phone and neither will work with this charger.

As per the other two reviews the unit does get very hot, however, I found it excellent when I found myself on holidays and was unable to charge my cellphone, it was an absolute life saver and at [$] was a steal. It kept me in contact with my family back home in Ireland, it isn't the best gadget I have ever bought but it's not a bad one either

This was given to me as a gift and I never used it until I lost my power cable on vacation. When I first tried to use it, it didn't work, and I noticed that the sticker for which way the battery should be inserted, was placed over the contact. After removing the sticker, the unit never charged my phone, and then began to get very hot. So hot that it would have burned me!
