Great gift idea. Make sure you switch the lock on otherwise little hands can erase the message and you will need to readd the greeting.

This is a great keepsake gift for yourself of grandparents. We recorded our 2 and 4 year old saying Merry Christmas and plan to keep it for years to come as a rememberance of their toddler years.

This item is very cute. We inserted a picture of our one year old daughter and recorded her laughing. It made a great present for Grandma. She keeps it out all the time, and plays it constantly. It is large enough to have a nice picture, but not so large that it looks gaudy and out of place. The recording buttons are very easy to use, and it has a safety function so the recording can not be accidentally erased.

This is an excellent gift for family members who live far away. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother in law, who misses her granddaughter terribly. I had my daughter record the message. It was the first gift opened, and my mother in law was late for church because she immediately started to cry! She even took it to church to show her priest, who blessed it, and to work to show her friends. Definitely her best gift this year!

I bought this to place a picture of a deceased grandfather who we miss dearly. To top it off I had a clip of his voice on our answering machine and put the voice onto the ornament for my kids for Christmas. They loved it and played his voice over and over. The part I like about it is that it says the sound clip will play for 100 years. I look forward to pulling this out every Christmas and having my kids remember their grandfather who cared so much for them.

This is a very beautiful ornament. I ordered 2 and have both the red and the green (one for my husband and one for my parents). The sound quality is decent and it has a nice lock feature to prevent accidentally re-recording over your message. Now if you can only get a baby to "speak" on command . . .

Good gift for someone you don't know what to give. I put a picture of my daughter in it, recorded her saying "merry Christmas" and sent it off to some family members. It was well received.

I purchased approx. 12 of these for gifts. So far some do not work - I gave more out for gifts - I will find out soon just how many I will need to return that didn't work.
They look nice but not reliable.

The kids love to hear themselves cracking up and singing. We all laugh when we listen to these favorite ornaments.
