I love this fan. I have asthma. It really helps to have my own personal fan when my asthma is acting up. Also, when storms come and the power goes out, I have air! It works with either batteries or an adapter. It's perfect.

Great product. Moves the air in confined office areas and drowns out surrounding noise without being overly distracting. Little loud at first, but I quickly acclimated to the soothing background sound of the fan.

I am one of those people who needs air moving when I sleep. This can be difficult on a cruise ship. I have purchased fans from Brookstone in the past so that is the first place I looked. I never expected to find a battery operated one. It was perfect for the cabin where there are very few outlets. The only down side is that the batteries don't last very long.

I just got this fan from a friend and I must say, for the size it comes in, it sure puts out a lot of power. I collect fans, mostly retro, and I must say it is very attractive as well. I love it!

I love this fan. It is powerful yet does not take up much space on my cluttered desk. Great retro look also. I would recommend this to anyone who wants extra ventilation for their desk/office area. I also love the fact you can tilt it in most any direction.

Loved this for the 2 months it actually worked. I travel alot and it is just loud enough to block out hotel noises, however it just stopped working at 4:00 AM after having it for only 2 months and the store would not do anything about it. Too expensive for a mere 60 days worth of working.

Wife uses it to cool down when she is putting make-up on and is getting ready for work...Does the job!!!...She's happy....I'm happy.

I do not use the fan for cooling reasons, but for white noise. I have slept with a fan on for most of my life due to ringing in my ears. The fact that it makes noise is a plus for me. It 'sounds' like a much bigger fan. I use this to travel with. I enjoy it so much I actually plan on getting two more just in case they stop selling them...oh, btw, the look really good!

I love this fan, my parents bought me one about three years ago. I use it frequently and have been impressed by it's performance overall. I've lost the power supply so i use rechargeable batteries and am very happy with the output and adjustability of the unit. The fan could be quieter but after a few minutes you ear adjusts to it and it's barely noticeable. I would recommend this fan to those who want a retro style fan suitable for office desktop use.

I've had two of these in the past, and they're really great when working. However, both of mine developed electrical problems and stopped working after perhaps a year of occassional use. I notice they were off the shelves for awhile, so perhaps they've reworked them - I may try another to see.
