I ordered these covers recently for our patio furniture. I have a standard rectangular table that seats 6 people, but according to my measurements not even the largest rectangular cover would work with my table. However, after some thought and remeasuring, I figured that I could order the largest oval cover as long as I stored 2 of the 6 chairs somewhere else - the oval cover would only work with my table if I only covered it and 4 chairs. Unfortunately when the covers arrived, they didn't work out - there was too much work in trying to figure out where the exact center of the oval cover was so that it would cover the table and only 4 chairs evenly....Also, with DE getting some snow in the winter and there being a lot of sagging in the middle, we were concerned that the cover might tear when collecting the rain/snow in the middle area....The covers seems to be made pretty sturdy, but we weren't willing to take the chance, especially since these aren't cheap at [$].....Hopefully in a future catalog, we'll see a larger rectangular cover being offered for what is believed to be a pretty common/standard patio table these days.

We have had the largest size of this cover on our patio table for about 10 days now. It has been raining heavily for almost a week, and it has held up okay so far.We live in central CA, so the weather here is relatively mild in winter, mostly rain - no snow. I bought the cover to protect a rather expensive patio table + chairs from dust and sun fading and keep rain off in winter. On the plus side: price is right (we looked in to getting a custom Sunbrella fabric cover made[$] On the con side: material seems a little flimsy, so not sure how it will hold up in our 100+ degree summer heat, or how it would do under more severe winter conditions than we get around here; also, we have 6 chairs and it does not cover the table and chairs very much (I did pre-measure, but somehow it does not cover as much as the picture would lead you to believe). Better than nothing, but not as much protection as I had hoped.Overall, I would probably be happy if it keeps some of the elements off, and at less than [$], I guess I will just buy another if I can get a couple years out of this one.

It's nice looking and fits perfectly around the table and chairs together, however, it has already cracked and split in many places and I've only had it a couple of months. Not Winter-proof. My only disappointment.

If your chairs have arms that keep cause a gap, heavy rains will puddle between the chair and the table. Gaps make this product unworkable. Ask me, last years snow completely destroyed a previous one.

I got this cover and selected the size using the specifications given. Not long after covering my patio set I started to have problems. Even in minimal wind, the cover would become displaced and the tiedowns ripped. Eventually I decided it just did not fit the set properly. I had purchased numerous coordinating pieces and only about half of them held up well during the New England winter. The other half did not fare as well and developed splits in the vinyl. [...]
