Used mostly in car and for small handi man projects. Nice to get under computer desk to clean the back fan grate. Good attachments help in those hard to reach places. Better than other small hand helds.

I used it in my apartment on hardwood floors and also on bathroom tile. The suction is just not there. It feels strong on the hand but when you try to vaccuum with it you must go several times over and it still does not pick it all up.

Do not see what cooking has to do with the vac. It is the best picker upper for spills and messes without getting out the big vaccuum. I am a professional with little time to constantly clean. The vac is most handy for quick cleanup when company coming-once over stairs and small rugs.
