I'd seen this (or a similar unit) in a high end catalog, which was bested by Brookstone's price -- and I knew the quality would be there. This version also featured a wider range of image discs, to keep the visual fun going at more times during the year.

We set it up for this Xmas, and started with flying reindeer and have now moved on to snowmen. Valentine hearts are next, and there are shamrocks, fireworks, party favors, pumpkins, witches and more to satisfy about any event or occasion.

Changing the images is very easy, and I love the ability to keep a nighttime theme going on the house without dragging lots of other props in or out for holidays and events. It will be fun to be able to touch upon even the minor dates, like St. Pattie's Day.

The projector sets up easy, and is fairly durable in nature -- although I thought the body would be metal, but it is a strong plastic. The light throws the images a good distance (although you'll need it to be dark to get the positioning right, it is not bright enough to see in the day). The only drawback is that the turning mirror ball (which is what creates the projection motion) is fairly noisy, a kind of rotating grind.

I had considered getting this for some time, I'm glad I did, and I'm sorry I didn't make the purchase sooner.

We returned it as it didn't work on our one-story house which has lots of angles and not many flat areas so it was hard to see the patterns. Lights were not bright enough outdoors even though our street is not particularly bright.

The product is original and easy to use.

It is a bit loud for indoors use.

Performed just as described, like the motion aspect, easier than hanging a lot of christmas lights.

We had to send it back to repear it. It was broke the moment we put it on. We are waiting for a new one, because the few seconds it worked were great.

The picture in the magazine leads you to believe that "one" EZ-up-light show is enough for the exterior "show" on the average size house. Not so! I am very happy after purchasing a 2nd EZ-up-light! We were the only house on the street to have snowflakes falling and no shoveling involved!

It did not illuminate the entire front of house like the picture shows in the catalog. We adjusted it and it still was not worth keeping the item.

Great display, just needs to be brighter. I am ordering a second unit to display on my traditional 2-story home. I really like the effect; however, passerbys need to be directly in front of the home to enjoy the scene. It's not really obvious from a distance, but I think a 2nd unit would help. I like the different slide options, there is enough selection to display for many holidays.

I put this in my front yard and it works well. The only problem I am having is that there is a security light across the street and it makes it too light for the shapes to show up really well. It takes some thought to figure out how to place it so that the shapes go across the entire house.

Should be noted before you buy EZ Up, if your house is dark in color, EZ light up will NOT work for you. Waisted money on shipping. Trouble shooting in direction book states if your house is dark in color, EZ light up will not work and image will be very dull.

I was so excited to get this but when we set it up we quickly realized that it would not be bright enough because we have a street light near the house. If your property is fairly dark this would be awesome! I was so upset to have to take it back, it really is very unique. Maybe they could offer a more powerful/brighter bulb?

The unit is place directly in front of my house.

It does not shine bright enough on light colored brick...even with dim street light (75 ft) away.

This helped me in a pinch! I bought 2 of these to use to decorate a huge ballroom for my company's Holiday Party. The hotel was really strict on decorations and the room was huge with high ceilings! Our theme was Winter Wonderland and boy, did these do the trick! Sure, the fan is noisy (like an air conditioner) but the music totally hid the noise!

Doesn't work well on one story houses.

I really like the concept of this product. I just can't seem to get the most effect from it. I can barely see the objects reflecting on my house. If you get it really close, it has the best effect; however, it doesn't project across the entire house this way. I am really disappointed with the brightness. Would love it if it were brighter and more obvious.

Did not let you know that the light bulb was not included. Had to search to find one. Quite a bother, since we planned on setting up right away for an event we were having that weekend. Would recommend this product with a warning about the bulb.

This makes our house fit in with the really artistic people in our neighborhood. The animated shapes flying around are very distinctive; there are a nice variety of templates, too.
The unit motor is loud; I would not use it indoors because of that flaw.
