2 months later and despite the description of the item, I still can't find a 13 gallon basket that will fit, which means I have to go to a 10 gallon and have less room.Some of the assembly instructions were not as clear as they should have been. It is a nice looking piece(we painted it to match our cabinets),and gave me extra counter space,which has been helpful.

HIDING THE WASTEBASKET IS GREAT. ENJOY THE EASE OF PUTTING TRASH AWAY. TO SAVE THE DOOR HINGE I HAVE PLACED TWINE ON THE DOOR AND THE SILL. THERE BY SAVING UNDO PRESSURE ON THE HINGE.

My only criticism is the bottle of glue that came with the kit for assembly - the applicator tip came off the first time we used it, and for the remainder of the assembly we fought with glue going everywhere but where it needed to be.

Wastebasket door should have a stopper attached so door does not weaken hinges...possibly a string or chain to keep it from opening all the way.

We use to hold a kitchen garbage basket. It is attractive, the rollers are great, & it holds a nice sized waste basket. It required about 4 hours to assemble the unit & it was very difficult to find a waste basket with the right dimensions to maximize the use of the interior space. It's rather large, make sure you have sufficient space for it.

We really like this piece and have received many positive comments on it. The only real problem that we have had, is finding a trashcan that fits well. We are currently using a bathroom can (and with 4 people it fills FAST), but would really like somthing larger. Everything we have found that has the right height is too wide. Otherwise, it is exactly what we wanted!
