This was a post-surgery gift from my husband. I absolutely love it. It fits me perfectly, but could stand to be a little wider for larger folks. Heated massage is a bonus. Reading light allows me to read w/o disturbing my husband. I enjoyed it so much I sent one to my Mom for Mother's Day. She also loves hers.

Love my new bedrest. The massage is gentle enough to be effective and the heat is just right. The reading lamp is perfect if you don't want to disturb anyone else and the overall rest is very fluffy and soft. Love it!

I bought this item for a sick person. To help her to sit up to eat,watch TV and look at books. The cup holder was nice. The reading light didn't work. I couldn't get her situated into the backrest. Several of us tried. She is not a big woman. If you can't get into it yourself, it is useless. I use it for myself, other than the reading light not working, it's fine. My husband taped a small reading light to it, doesn't look too good, but it works.

I got it for my Grandmother. She loves the heated massage. She also likes the nice reading light. She actually uses it to warm up, she puts a blanket over her and sits in it.

My daughter does most of her studying in her bedroom, and sometimes falls asleep sitting up. At least, this way, she's in her bed, has proper lighting, and is relatively comfortable.

This product is great for reading in bed and has a good massager. I always use it if I'm tired or need a rest. My only complaint is that sometimes the massage gets really loud and makes it hard to concentrate.

Overall I think it is good product. I love that the back is adjustable and you can lean back at different levels. It doesn't come with batteries for the light you have to get them. The only problem I found is the cup holder. It is not very deep and the first time I put a drink in it I knocked it over. Thank goodness it had a lid on it. But you can imagine if you are using it in bed what a mess that could be. I think it was meant for coffee cups only.

I use it to read in bed and when I had bronchitis, it worked great closed as a wedge to allow me to sleep at an angle.

The light is insufficient, even as a supplement to bedside lamps. A slightly wider back would be desirable, especially for someone recouperating from hip surgery and has some swelling.

I bought this product for my mother whose in her mid 70's. She reads the newspaper and balances her checkbook in bed quite often. The heated backrest has provided her with nice support and soothing relief from back and neck pain. The armrests are convenient for holding her coffee and checkbook, papers and remote control. The only complaint I've heard from her is regarding the massaging vibration. Apparently, the entire bed vibrates when this feature is activated. Perhaps future models can be equipped with something that actually massages rather than merely vibrates. Overall, the product has proven to be quite useful, comfortable and well worth the cost.

Product is used for support when sitting on bed and using computer or reading. The light allows work to be done without spouse being disturbed by an overhead room light. The heat and massage allow for relaxation time before retiring for the evening.

It is good but not compared to my massage chair. You cannot really feel the heat - I thought the heat would be more like heated seats in a vehicle so was really disappointed in this aspect.

Purchased for 88 year old father who is basically bed ridden. Because he spends most of his time in bed, he has little upper body strength, so it was difficult for him to manuever the bed rest into place and scoot back into it for proper support. It was also a little narrow for him to scoot back into. The product would be most appropriate for someone who is recovering from accident/illness and can place it in position w/o help.

My mother cannot sleep lying down anymore and so has been sleeping in her recliner chair. I gave her this Bedrest Pillow and now she can sleep comfortably in her own bed again. She really likes all the features too. It was her favorite Christmas gift!

We tried it in a bed and just couldn't get a comfortable position for the headrest. It came too far forward when sitting upright and was too uncomfortable if it leaned too far backward. When sitting in it the arms aren't long enough to have your arms on it and have a drink in the cupholder. Great idea, fair execution.
