I bought this to hyper inflate my car tires to get better gas mileage. It is a good device to have, although I'd recommend getting a separate tire gauge to get a more accurate idea of the tires pressure.
Comes with extra nozzle attachments for alternate uses like ball pumping and other inflation needs.
Being cordless is great and having a cig lighter attachment is very useful too.

Bought one for my husband, had to buy one for my father-in-law once he saw it. Very easy to use, we use it all the time, kids toys, bike tires and even my car tire occasionally. Even easier to use than pulling up to service station and asking the guy to do it. We love it -- new gift for men in family, but I use it more!!!!

As received, the Schraeder head was too tight to fit my tire valve stems. Modified with a drill bit, and now it works very well. The gauge is also quite accurate, as long as the head is properly seated on the valve.
Reviews and Ratings - Hiking & Biking - AirPro® Cordless Air Compressor By none
Poorly designed attachment fixture
By none from Basalt, CO on 5/2/2008
Cons:
Doesn't fit on tire stem
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The product is fine except for the tire stem fitting. That part is poorly engineered, and doesn't fit without excessive pressure on it. It would not work at all on a flat tubed tire, and the pressure needed to put it on a stem will lead to premature failure of the weak plastic fitting. Not a good buy for me.

By Ray s from West Grove, PA. on 4/27/2008

Nozzel is a tight fit on the tire stems. It takes a break-in amount of use before it loosens up.

By BobG from Santa Fe on 4/25/2008
Pros:

Bottom Line:

I use it to check and top-up my tires' peressures. I find it takes a full load of the battery (and 20 minutes) to raise 4 tires from about 28 to the recommended 35. However, I had expected it to involve only "minimal effort on my part", as per the blurb.

Cons:
Does not fit all car tire
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

We have 3 cars, a Kia Sedona, a Chrysler Grand Prix, and a Hyundai Azera. We love the fact that the compressor is convenient, portable, and self contained (has its own power source). However, this is the second compressor that we have had. We returned the first one because it did not work on any of our cars. It did not fit over any of the tire stems of any of our 3 cars. We are still unable to use the second one on the Grand Prix. The tire stem is very short and the hard plastic end of the compressor prevents us from being able to push it down far enough to open the valve stem. I would recommend it but with reservations.

I keep the inflator in my car. I have a tire pressure monitoring system and have used the inflator to keep the pressure trued in my tires, especially with some wide temperature swings this winter. The inflator has worked as well as a Black and Decker Air Station in performing this chore, though it does not require an electrical outlet. The portability is great, and I have been pleasantly surprised at battery life before it must be recharged.
I am looking forward to upcoming trips to the coast, where I expect to be able to make short work of the inflatable rafts oceanside, NOT up at the car or on the deck where the outlets are.

I you want to inflate daily items and car tires, it's useful. Doesn;t hold a charge for long when sitting in the garage. If you're a heavy duty user you may want to look elsewhere, but for a casual do-it-yourselfer it's perfect (although the dial should be digital to be more precise).
