The Turner Tongs are probably best used for grilling sausage, fish and items that are difficult to turn, They were cumbersome for simple grilling like steaks and chops. These Tongs require larger storage space than other grilling tools.

Much more verswatile than a common lifter. You do not chase the meat all over the grill to flip it. It also seems to spare any coatings on the meat more than a lifter. (Doesn't work on cheeseburgers).

Tongs doesnt pierce the steaks or any meat retaining all the juices. Large size is useful for any item that you can cook on the grill

Great product! Was a bit concerned since some reviews said it can be difficult to grasp and hold, but as a female beginning grill user, I find this massive flipper to be great for everything, from burgers and steaks and fish.

Bought this specifically for grilling fish, but I find myself using it for burgers, steaks, and fish. Was a big concerned with reviews saying it was difficult to close/use since it might be too big, but as a female, even I had no problem with it. Great buy!

This tool doesn't pierce the meat leaving all the juices intact. Large surface makes it eay to turn or remove anything easily from the grill. Easy to clean

Gave this as a Father's Day gift to my husband. He loves it! He was very disappointed last year when it sold out so quickly and wasn't available, so this year I ordered it as soon as I saw it in the catalog. It works so well I may just buy one for my brother!

I bought this for my dad for Father's Day along with the other BBQ set Brookstone offers. We don't live in the same state so I haven't seen it but my Dad called to tell me about it. He was blown away by the solid construction. He banged it on a table "hear that" he says. It's crazy sturdy, real quality. I was so happy. He only cooked burgers on the grill before this because he said it was difficult to flip other meat or lift it off successfully. This is a best BBQ tong you will ever use. It works for the standard burger but it truly excels for turning things like fish, steaks, and chops. With practice, you can flip and remove three burgers at a time. Constructions is sturdy so I expect it to last for many years.

We use the tongs for general grilling but especially when grilling fish like swordfish, tuna, halibut or salmon steak. We've found it quite useful and handy when trying to turn delicate fish.

It's a little too big... We do mostly burgers and chicken breasts and it's overkill. It would be nice for ribs or steaks. It's also hard to store because it's so big. And my wife finds it difficult to use, because it requires two hands for her to hold it closed.

We enjoyed the turner tong. The only thing negative is that it was hard to get bottom part of the tong underneath your meat to turn it. Otherwise, it's a great addition to have if you frequently grill out.
