Previous model could not withstand the pressure of air removal and would break. Marinates in a minimal amount of time (just enough time to prepare the other ingredients of your dish) and food prepared is juicy and flavorful. Easy to clean and store. Only issues are the size, which is too large for a dinner for two, and the vacuum device, which you have to apply pressure to the lid to remove the air properly.
