I live in South Carolina and wanted a good blanket for my bed that could be used year round. I have had this for a year now and love the quality. My children love the feel of it as well, so I am coming back to purchase two additional comforters for their beds. I wanted a down comforter but thought I would try this first. It is perfect and the price is excellent.

I bought the first one because I just I moved to a new house and my old very expensive comforter was shot. All the reviews were positive so I thought I could not go too far wrong with a purchase. I was delighted with it. It is warm but has a light feel. I bought the second one for the guest bedroom and with the gift card and and additional promotions, it seemed that they were practically giving it away. Both were a great buy.

Use on bed year round. With cover can change the color and look easily also cuts down on cleaning of whole quilt.Is comfortable year round. Makes bed look soft and inviting

I use this on my queen size bed, because I like over-sized blankets. This comforter is very comfortable, and will keep you very warm in the late Fall, Winter, and early Spring.

We bought this comforter after retiring our [$]premium goose down comforter that we'd had for years. Figured it was worth a try since it is so affordable. It's SO comfortable and just the right warmth. Very cozy on cold New England nights but still not too hot. Definitely a good buy.

Isn't too warm for someone who overheats easily - and it's extremely soft to the touch. Feels like a much more expensive comforter.

This comforter is wonderful! It makes me want to sleep in and not go to work every morning! It's perfect for all seasons, as it gives just enough insulation in the winter and is light enough for the summer. Overall, it's a great product that Brookstone has put out...

I have looked at high thread-count down comforters for over 2 years. I was so unhappy with my last down purchase that I decide to research and search high and low this time around! Just when I was about to spend over $400 on something with a high thread count (which was one of the MUST HAVES according to my research) I found this "alternative down" spread from Brookstone. My thoughts were that I would simply return it if it didn’t work out and bite the bullet for the more expensive one. Living in Charleston, SC, we needed something that would be perfect for all seasons, including very humid weather, but we also wanted some amount of “weight” - I hate skimpy covers. I also wanted the bed to look comfy when "made-up" - and inviting. Last night was our first night sleeping under this comforter and we could not be more pleased. Not only does it feel like very high thread count cotton - the weight is perfect –even when inside my duvet. It’s definitely what I would call heavy – but it’s not hot. I can't get over the money we saved! We are thrilled!

One of the greatest features of this comforter is it's not down filled. With a partner with allergies, it was important to find a non down filled cover that had similar features to down. We've only been using it a few months (spring) and love how lightweight it is, but still cuddly for cold Vermont nights.

I do not like down comforters...This comforter is not particularly fluffy but it is very warm and very cozy and comfortable! I absolutely love it!

This comforter has kept me warm during an extremely brutal cold spell here in Minnesota. The only concern I have about it is that it is fairly heavy. I'd love to see it offered in a couple of different weights!

I have been a down person all my life but have always been disappointed with shedding down comforters or feathers shifting. I decided to try a down alternative and since I usually am very happy with Brookstone, I thought I would give it a try. I LOVE the comforter. It is warm, but doesn't make you sweat. The cover is very soft and never cold to the touch like down comforters are when you first get into bed. I have not washed it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up in the wash. It has shed a little bit of the insulation, so we will see if that becomes a problem.

- soft feeling, comfortable, very light but keeps me warm.
- feathers seem to fall out from the inside sometimes.

I have been looking for a new comforter for my duvet for some time. I have a king and didn't wanna spend a lot of money but wanted great quality. when I saw this one, I had to try it. It is the best thing I have ever bought. Its not to hot or cold. It stay in place in my duvet. I was recommend it to everyone.

I just bought this a couple days ago, so I don't know if my opinion will change, but my first couple nights with it were HOT. I bought the king size and it's really heavy. I like it's simplistic design and it's really soft to the touch, but it's really heavy and hot. Definitely would recommend for a cold climate. For the price, I don't think you can beat it.

Got this when i was placing my order for a idesire chair. At first i thought it was a cheap blanket when i saw the square fillings. I had a dow before and silk blanket also , and the cheap [$] blanket [...]also. The dow was just awaful with the little feathers. Silk is real smooth but very expensive at [$] queen size. Cheap blanket is good but i need 2 to be warm so it was heavy. This one [...]is nice and warm and good price also.
