This fan is awesome... I suffer from night sweats and hot flashes..this fan delivers quick cooling that gets me back to sleep asap. The only drawback is it is very light in weight, which is good on one hand but not so good on the other..the lightness of the product makes is slide out of place at night, which can make the air not circulate correctly under the sheets. I will be getting little velcro dots to attach it to my baseboard to hold it in place(I have a solid to the floor baseboard at the foot of my bed. Other than that it truly keeps you very cool while sleeping. I would highly recommend this product and have in fact been telling everyone I know about it!! My mom and brother just ordered one(my brother travels to Mazatlan twice a year and it is very humid and hot, so he is really looking forward to cool nights with this product, my mom suffers from extreme hot flashes due to the medicine she is taking for after care from breast cancer so she too is looking forward to hers also!!)

This has TOTALLY CHANGED MY LIFE! Because of medication, I continually had my home set to 60º and now I keep my house at 77º all because of my bedfan! I expected a metal sheet lifter/extender but this is plastic. Would like to see this more sturdy and not in a velcro format. Would be perfect if unit was metal, with wider base, and sliding feature vs, smaller base, plastic and velcro.

Overall, this product is FABULOUS! The plastic allows your device to slightly bending when the sheets toug on the devise. I start out at HIGH SPEED when setting in bed, allowing the sheets to balloon up into a cool pocket of air, and eventually turn it to a low setting before sleeping. Good price for unit. The wired controller is great and long enough to reach to your pillow side. The power cord is also long enough to reach from the bottom of your bed to the top, to plug in your outlet. Could use some minor changes, but again, THIS HAS CHANGED THE WAY I LIVE AND SLEEP!!!!!

It takes a little upfront work to adjust it correctly & run the cord for the control...but it is so worth it...even set very low is effective. I turn it on as I'm getting ready for bed & the sheets are nice and cool. Use something like short pieces of pipe insulation on either side of the fan between the mattress & box springs; keeps the sheets from untucking.

the only con is that it is on the flimsy side, but i don't care about that anymore. i can't believe i've lived without it all these years. i was afraid i wouldn't be able to use my comforter so as not to weigh it down, but i do and i am extremely comfortable...sometimes i'm downright freezing but the remote is so handy. love it, love it, love it.

The idea of a bed fan is a great idea but I found this one the be a bit loud when turned on its max setting. In addition, if you move a lot in your bed the sheets that direct the air flow will eventually become untucked and you will lose all the air under the bed sheet. Also needs a better design to create more of a wind tunnel to the top of the fan.

I have been a very hot sleeper for years and after moving in with my fiance' who likes the room much warmer than I do to sleep in, I found myself suffering every night, nothing I did would make the room cool enough. We had the heat down to 60 and the window open behind us and it still wasn't cool enough for me! So I did some research, and I found the bedfan online about a week ago, got it last friday night and have had the best sleep EVER! I no longer wake up sticky and sweaty and I was even able to sleep with the windows shut and I slept right through the night not waking up sweating ONCE! I love this product!! Just make sure to use a nice quality sheet (350- 400 thread count) and a comforter and pick up your dust ruffle so it doesn't block the fans under the bed, tuck that controller under your pillow and get ready for a great night's sleep!

Let me say that I loved this product. I was doubtful at first, but I've slept with remote controled fans pointed directly at me for years. My husband hates the air from a fan blowing directly on him. This was the answer to our problems. And blowing only on my feet, this fan really worked. And I kept the control under my pillow so I could lower and raise the air flow as needed. Unfortunately the whole thing is plastic. The bar that lifts the sheet is also plastic, attached by velcro, and after one week the bar snapped in half. So beware that its not made that well. But I did order another one.

The Bed Fan is nice and quite, it blows air on me, only, it is under the sheet and not very noticeable. I sleep more comfortable because it is close and not on the ceiling or we aren't running the airconditioner all the time.

I heard about this product on "The View" and it does exactly what it claims. I was suffering from night sweats and was constantly waking up duing the night. This fan circulates the warm air away from you and creates a gently draft. I can leave the thermostat at 78, while still sleeping comfortably under my sheets. I'm buying a 2nd one for the guest room!

We use the BED FAN every night, my wife gets her cooling and I don't get the draft of a ceiling fan. Only wish it were tougher and some other way to install it without cutting the dust ruffle.

You need to make it so that there are markings on the on off dial. With markings, you could know your regular setting and turn it exactly to that setting each time.

My husband just gave this to me for my birthday. I have terrible hot flashes at night, and need the air conditioner kept at North Pole levels. After using this for two nights I can turn down the air and have not needed the fan next to my bed! I've slept with the covers on all night. It works just like it says it will. I thought I'd have to have it on high, but I don't set it anywhere near high. Another bonus is that it keeps the sheets nice and cool too! Great product. If you haven't had a good night sleep due to hot flashes get this fan!

The fan does cool off my husband *and my toes* nicely, but if you are a restless sleeper and untuck the sheets the fan doesn't work. It was super easy to set-up and as the tempatures reach 100 every day here we have been using it more and more.

Just what I have been searching for! I love my ceiling fan, but I love the bed fan more! Instead of blowing air on top of the sheets, this unique fan creates a wind tunnel between the sheets gently blowing cool air that surrounds my body and not just the top of the sheet. The control is easily accessible (can be looped on the headboard) which is perfect for middle of the night adjustments (on/off, high/low). Very quiet. Very effective. Highly recommend.

Works great! When I brought it home, my fiance thought I was crazy and I wasted money. I get very hot when I sleep and have a fan directly on the bed all night that he hates.
The first night I used it, I turned it on as high as it would go and didn't think that it worked that well and was planning to return. The next day I read the instruction booklet again, and realized I had the bedskirt in the way from the vet/fan on the bottom. Since fixing that, it has worked great! I only have to turn on about half way and sometimes get too cold. My fiance can't believe it works so well. Highly recommend product!!

Have to admit that I was a bit skeptical, but this fan really works to cool between the sheets. I bought it for my husband, but he thought I got it for myself because of my hot flashes! I was surprised to see that on the packaging - I don't recall seeing it mentioned in the catalog, but perhaps it was. Consider marketing this to menopausal women! I developed a product for hot flashes and I know women who would really appreciate this fan!

This product is very helpful to use if a couple has different "body temperatures". Keeping the sheet intact around the bed fan is a little challenging, but a nice product.

The good news is that since I began using this fan, I don't throw the covers off several times a night. So, it does work. But, I have to adjust the fan at the bottom of the bed every night. The top bars that go under the sheet attach to the fan by velcro and with a taller bed, it just isn't sturdy to stay up all the time. It is very light weight so it can become frustrating to set it, have it fall over, reset it and so on till it's where it needs to be. Would be better for beds without thick mattesses that are lower to the ground. But, despite that, this is the only product of its kind so if you have hot flashes during the night, this may help you with better sleep.

I bought this bed fan for my husband. We have never been compatable in the temperature department, however, this fan seems to have solved the problem for us. He is cooler and we no longer have to have a huge, loud fan blowing on both of us. We both win.

I purchased this item for my fiance who is always hot sleeping and she does not get quality sleep. With the bedfan she can keep the covers on all night and get a constant breeze to keep her cool. It is a great alternative for people who's windows cannot accomodate an air conditioner. If you wanted to purchase a portable AC for $400 you could, but the bedfan is a more cost effective way to go. It is also hidden under your sheets and only uses minimal space. Great for small apartments/condos.

I have nerve damage in both of my feet causing them to always be extremely hot. Before I got this fan I would toss & turn always looking for a cool place to put my feet. Usually outside the covers. With this fan my feet stay nice & cool and under the covers. My dog even likes it and will stay under the covers all night.

The manual suggests using high thread count sheets which needs to go over the bedfan for proper functioning, otherwise the air doesn't get sucked away correctly. We have a high bed and the sheet kept riding up, opening up a place for the air to enter instead of from the bed. It would be great if the fan had a plastic backing instead of relying on the sheet for proper air flow.

My husband and I fight over the air conditioning every summer. I like it cool, he would rather not see his breath. I sleep hot, he just sleeps. So this is perfect and so far, has been a marriage saver. I had it on my side of the bed but my husband decided we should share so it is now in the middle of the bed. The control lets you pick how much air is coming thru and because it is pulling air from under the bed it is cool. And it's quiet. The energy bills should be quiet abit lower this summer!
