This is a great addition to our home. My husband comes in every night and drops his coins into the Wood Coin Bank by Mag-Nif. No more coins on top of the furniture or falling to the floor. The simple design works very well and goes well with our decor. It is a little noisy, however, for the price, I'm ok with the noise. I have already recomended it to friends.

One thing that's bothered me about most coin-sorters is they all tend to look like "machines," not something I'd be comfortable displaying. So, one good thing is that this particular coin-sorter is a very nice-looking product. It's durable, the wood is surprisingly sharp-looking, and I like the way it fits into the room. BUT, its machinery is not that great. The product often has trouble sorting the coins. It grinds for long pauses, and the last coin or two in a batch almost always gets stuck so I have to reposition it in order for the machine to continue. It's definitely NOT as good as ANY of the other coin sorters I've ever had........But it looks so nice in the room, I sort of forgive it for the assistance I sometimes have to provide... :)

This product is a step up from the other motorized coin banks sold in typical department stores and even at Brookstone. It not only features a nice wood paneling and a convenient storage drawer, but it actually functions a lot better with fewer jams even when inserting dozens of coins at a time. With this product, I never worry about holding up the line at a cashier by trying find exact change. I never leave the house with a pocket full of coins to get rid of. I just drop in my coins every night into this handy device and create perfect rolls of coins (which I happen to sell to my own business... but you could also take them to a bank).

This product can be displayed with it sleek design and rich finish. It works wonderfully and I bought the coin rolls to insert and they do not get jammed and once filled they can be easily removed. I would definately recommend this product.

Overall this sorter works pretty well. The only problem with is that one coin always gets stuck during each cycle. The last coin just doesn't make it down into the tubes. It is definitely better than any other home use coin sorter I have used.

This coin bank is not only made from beautiful cherry wood, it is highly functional as well. Fairly quiet operation. Dimes tend to jam a bit when sorting large amounts of coins, but easy to correct. Would highly recommend this product.

I got this for my husband because he was always having jars and jars of change. Then he'd once a month have to sit on the floor and roll them all and it was a pain. Now when he comes home he can just dump his change from the day in the coin bank. I use this product to sort out the change left in my pockets at days end. It works fine for this purpose, but when I first got it, I had a bowl of change to put through. It seemed to struggle with the continuous flow of coins. It would be nice if it had an AC option to provide more stable and stronger power for when you have a larger amount to be sorted. For occasional use though, it works great.

I bought this on a whim a couple years back for my husband. Well let me tell you, he literally thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread! He uses it everyday and it's much better looking and much more efficient than the ugly jar he used to use to collect all his loose change. For everyday use, for 10-30 seconds, it's perfect. I doubt it would be any good for professional, hard core use.

I think that this product is very good. I was looking for something to take into account all the change I do have. I think that this product does look very good on the outside but it doesn't perform up to it's standards. I think that it does get stuck a few times and I even have to open the top just to move around all the coins.

This sorter is high quality and a beautiful addition to any desk. The sorter accepts coin wrappers which makes it very easy to wrap all the change laying around the house doing nothing.

I was upset when the bank told me what I had to do to get rid of my change that I had done nothing with for 3 years. The other option of 7 cents on the dollar seemed high to me to use the machine at the grocery store.... so another organizational tool for the wife!

Works good if you don't jam a mountain of change down its throat. If you stay on top of sorting everyday should have no problems.

We have still not found the correct wrappers to go into the tubes. We are still using the cheep tubes from the dollar store, the extra step is no big sacrifice to get your change sorted and counted.

It is tricky to figure out exactly how many coins need to go into a wrapper the first time.

Good-looking enough to leave out on a desk and works very well. I had a couple of coins jam, but they clear easily and I've rolled about 20 rolls of coins so far. The tubes make it easy to get the coins into the paper rolls. Very handy product for keeping all the loose change around the house organized.

This product is fabulous! I love the design. It blends into the living room so easily. It looks like a piece of art. I have several wooden sculptures and the wood just blends so easily with our environment. I love the drawer. I use it to hold keys and bills when I come home from work. I also love the little spot in the back to capture the excess change. When I first used it I was trying to figure out what it did when the coin holder was full. I thought the machine would stop, but the coins just fell to the back. This is a very nice product and is a great gift.

The coin collector is attractive and solid enough for my purposes. It sorts the coins well. I was disappointed that it does not have a way to know when the sorted coins are the right number for a roll of coins. I have to take them out and count them before putting them in a wrapper. The sorter allows you to put a wrapper in the collection sleeve, but it does not count the coins, so you would need to take them out of the wrapper again to count them accurately. It's not much of a time saver, but it does have me putting all of my coins in one convenient place.

It looks beautiful and functions well. It's disappointing how the expensive wood coin sorter doesn't come with 100 coin wrappers, but the inexpensive non-wood one does. The best wrappers are the ones that are pre-formed, as they slip right into the coin tubes. The flat wrappers are more difficult to deal with because they can't be pre-inserted into the tubes; however, with practice one can insert them into the coin tubes after the coins have sorted. The extra drawer is nice for organizing, and the wood looks and feels sturdy.

This product handles daily coins easily. For a large volumn, it is slow to operate and mixes up the coins so you have to monitor the sorting. I would also recommend/wish it had a recharger or outlet plug rather battery operation alone. Otherwise it does a fine job!

Excellent for turning pocket change into cash for special events. The clear stacking cylinders make counting coins easy and greatly facilitate the coin wrapping process which can be tedious. Since this sorts and stacks your coins daily you do the coin wrapping one or two stacks at a time which is more convenient than a lengthy wrapping party.

So far it's does it's job well, and certainly looks nicer- from experience with these things their key issues are clogging when you put too many coins at once; and some are easier to clear than others- haven't had enough use to comment on that but it looks like the better design

This coin sorter is attractive to leave out on desk or dresser. However, it jams easily, puts coins into wrong slots 60% of the time, and frequently spins without releasing the coins for up to 2 mintues! It has caused my husband and I much frustration and we spend so much time attempting different amounts of coins (1 at a time, 5 at a time, 10, handful, but the problems listed above are not remedied by these changes) In the end, we dump out the coin holders and sort them ourselves by hand. It takes MUCH longer to get them sorted correctly with this machine than it does to sort them by hand ourselves. Frustrating!! Am planning on returned it ASAP.

I hated counting the coins and putting them in coin wrappers. With this machine, you turn- on the the device, poor in the coins and they are segregated by size into the proper bins (a glass tube). Then it's a snap to slide a wrapper in the tube. Much faster than the old way. I find it easier to feed one type coin in at a time. I love it!
