it was a little hard to assemble, but once it was done it is perfect for sitting at a couch and doing work on a laptop. As far as the comment below on the laptop falling off, if the person was smart enough to try the tilting mechanism before he put his laptop on it, he would have realized you need to tilt it to different angles without anything on it. You push a lever in and move it and then it snaps into place. Once it snaps it won't move from its position. although I wish this looked like a more expensive piece of furniture,from far away it looks great and it is so useful.

While trying to adjust the tip mechanism this table sent my 3000$ Mac Book Pro crashing to the floor, costing 800$ to fix with no guarantee it will ever be the same. There is no safe stop to prevent this from happening and this table doesn't roll well on carpeting and having only three wheels tips very easily. Bought it because it seemed well constructed. Very Very sorry I purchased it. Would only use this for writing on , wouldn't trust my laptop to it again. I should return it.

In general this is excellently constructed. However, I would have preferred a color choice. Oak finish is nice but is used in a room that is cherry and black. Tried others and liked this the best. Only gripe: the small side does not adjust vertically independently of the other.
