I am currently pregnant and I purchased this product near the end of my first trimester for my sore back and hips. It has been a godsend. Normally shiatsu type massagers are too rough for me but this one is perfect. I use it on my back, hips, shoulders, neck, feet, and legs. I am amazed that it doesn't irritate my shoulders even though I have severe repetitive stress injuries. The other night I used it on the back of my neck to massage away a headache. The price is worth every penny. Right now, I can't think of anything I do not like about this product. I am very satisfied.

I bought this after using one that my sister in law had. It is so wonderful. I take it everywhere I go. Every person that I plug it up for loves it. It doesn't matter if you have serious muscle knots (I have terrible knots in my low back) or if you just have a little tension in your shoulders, this thing is great. I put it on my hamstrings, calves, top of my thigh, low back, between shoulders, just about anywhere I need a good massage. It's easy to use and my only complaint would be that mine already has a small hole in the fabric that covers it.

I have very tense muscles and used to go to a massage therapist, but it was time-consuming and very expensive. My whole family goes to a chiropractor. This is an excellent tool to loosen up the muscles. The ball bearings move in such a pattern that they feel like a therapist's thumbs. We keep it plugged in on the den sofa and take turns using it in front of the TV, moving it to different parts of our backs.

I am impressed with this massage pillow. It is quite a deep massage - which I like. It can be painful if you get in on top of a bone though. IT does automatically shut off after like 20 minutes. I wish it didn't do that. It has helped me between massage therapy appointments.

This is a good and inexpensive device that you can buy out there. It feel kind of tickle at the first time but you will get used to it. I recommend to buy two (1 for the upper & 1 for the lower) so you will have your back full covered.

One fateful afternoon, I went to the mall on my lunch break to get a massage, but there was a long line. I ducked into Brookstone to sit in a massage chair, but all the massage chairs were occupied. Finally I gave up and settled into a chair with two iNeed massage cushions strapped on. Ten minutes later, I was addicted. The price - if you take into account how much a massage normally costs, and how inconvenient it is to schedule one - is actually extremely reasonable. I bought the iNeed and haven't looked back. Society forces activity upon me; otherwise, I would never leave my chair. I get migraines that cause the muscles in my neck and shoulders to knot into throbbing masses of pain, and the iNeed really helps alleviate my agony. One glitch: I have noticed that if I use the cushion for a prolonged period (like... 3 hours at a time) it stops working temporarily, possibly due to internal overheating or something. However, this is a pretty minor inconvenience. I still highly, highly recommend the iNeed. I'm buying one for my BFF for Valentine's Day!

It does what is says, provides a kneading type massage. However you can find the same, or better product for less money. The straps really serve no purpose as they are not long enough to wrap around a chair and just seem to get in the way. I bought the massager for my elderly father who said it actually hurt his back.

This really stimulates and relaxes your tense muscles after a hard day at work. I bought it not expecting much but was impressed at the great results. It helped improve my posture and fix any knots in my back. It can be used for your legs and feet also.

Neck massages are great too. The trick to massaging the neck is to turn it sideways and it gives a good firm shiatsu grip.

I love this product so much that I am addicted to it. I suffer from several back and hip problems and am in pain a lot of the time. I use this massage cushion several times a day. I use my computer often and put the cushion on the back of my chair without using the straps. (It's a high backed chair.) I will use it on various parts of my back, starting at my hips and moving it up or down after several minutes in each position. Just the pressure of my back on it keeps it in place nicely. I use it first thing every morning and whenever I first sit down to use my computer throughout the day and evening. It's a good thing that it finally turns off by itself because I might have a tendency to overdo it! The INeed is a life saver. I develop back tension and regularly receive massages to deal with it. The INeed gets me from one massage to another and allows me to do work on knots and tense area without going to get a massage. IT is great because it can take alot of abuse. I really force my sore and tense areas onto it and it has never done anything but its very effective kneeding action.

I suffer from migraines and get very tight shoulders and sore muscles. I bought this in hopes that I would not need to pay for massage so often. Wow. This literally hits the spot. It is a little awkward to set up for shoulders and neck, but once you get it situated...it works! I do not use the chair strap, I prop it on the couch.

Although the i-need pillow is meant for your back and works well on my back, I primarily use it for my legs. I love to run, and am training for my first triathlon and am hoping to do my second marathon at the end of the summer, and this portable pillow is the best way to loosen up after a run. I am a massage therapist at a high volume luxury resort and have to admit that I bought this for my b/f so I didn't have to massage him after a hard days work.I got to try it out myself and it worked my back GOOD. I was actually a bit sore the next day. The only draw back is, it's hard to get smaller ares like my neck and arms. It's possible, just a bit difficult. But then again, it probably wasn't made to massage the whole body.You can lean into it as hard as you want to get the right pressure.It feels like knuckles kneading the soft tissue. Such a treat and better than the ones that just vibrate!

I got this for my boyfriend because he really likes getting massages. I've also tried it. You can't use it for long periods of time, because it gets a little painful. Also, it keeps sliding off the chair, but that's probably because we wanted it higher on the back. Otherwise, it was a good price for the item and cute with its own carrying case. The design is pretty good too, with the strap to put on the chair.

Let this little guy loose on my back and shoulders last week and it was great. Really loosened up a big knot in my shoulder. I took to to work and even put it down on the ground and used it on my feet. But be careful - it's easy to overdo it and end up sore the next day.

Not your typical massager. I'll never look at a hand held unit ever again! And, I've never had a massage that hasn't left me feeling like wanting more or wishing it was more effective - Not this massager! No one can rub the knotts out of your shoulders/back like this INeed thing. You won't be left feeling like you want more. Caution: Don't keep it in one spot for too long - you'll feel bruised. I just bought this yesterday, and I havent put it down yet. Probably as close as you can get to a real deep tissue massage. I have been paying about [$] fo massages the last few months, so this thing pays for itself in a couple uses. I have been suffering from spasms,knots, and trigger points between my shoulder blades for that last year or so from working out as well as boxing. I got this iNeed Lumbar Massage Cushion as a Xmas gift from a fellow friend who appreciates a good massage as much as I do. Let me explain. I am 30 years old. My body tend to tense up. It doesn't help that I am the high-strung type, weight trains 4 days a week and have a fairly stressful job/life. I am always in need of a good massage. I have tried massage products. Nothing ever impressed me. So, to counter my tensions, I go to see an awesome deep tissue masseuse twice a month. Wish I could go more often, but it gets real expensive. In an ideal world, I'd get a massage every day. And now, this is possible. This massager is awesome. It's the perfect substitute for your in between massage days. It digs in pretty deep without being invasive. it rotates which kneads out your kinks - muscles sticking together - that cause you pain and tension. It doesn't so much vibrate which creates more of a numbing effect. Instead, it actually feels like fingers digging in. Since I get a lot of massages, let me give you a quick tip. When you hit something and it sort of slips over. That feels almost as if the machine had hit one of your bones. Now, if that's in fact not a bone, it should tell you that that is a knot. It feels a little odd initially to but that's the exact spot you have to knead on. Just adjust your position so the kneading can happen on that spot. Let it go until the pain starts to subside and the slippage you felt initially is becoming more rounded. That's when the knot has been untied. Another absolute great thing about this massager is its size. Portability aside, the size is actually great for a good massage. It's more concentrated. Think of it like this, if you have a masseuse working on you, she would only have a pair of hands and thus concentrating on just one part of your body. So this iNeed Lumbar Massager recreates that experience. It is small enough to be place anywhere on your body and target exactly where you need massage on. Just make sure you put some pressure on it to get more out of it. It is absolutely wonderful. I know I probably have more knots than most people, but with this little device I am sure I will be the most relaxed one in the room. Spend the [$] if you have pains and tension. You'll absolutely love it.

We actually won it as raffle prize and didn't think much of it. But once my husband tried it, he told me I had to use it! I get tension in my shoulder area once in awhile, and you can just move the pillow up and down depending on what area needs to be massaged. This is probably one of my favorite products [...]! The first day I tried it, I was just waiting for a turn to try out the massage chairs in the store....but I immediately fell in love with this one. I had to have it. Then I brought it to work and let everyone else try it out. I probably could've sold it for twice as much right then, but I couldn't live without it! It's a very good, deep massage that's small and light enough to take anywhere. There's nothing wimpy about these mechanics! I prefer it over my mom's massage chair. Here's a tip: Turn it up on it's end if you are a small person! I use it vertically and it hits just the right spots on my back! It's also WONDERFUL for hands and wrists if you use a computer a lot.
